Born and raised in the Southeast, I’m the epitome (not the stereotype) of the old adage, “American by birth, Southerner by the Grace of God“. I’ve lived in North and South Carolina, Florida, and now Georgia; where it appears that I’m likely to remain.
Educated in the field of Psychology, I spent over 30 years in the corporate world where I never directly applied any of that learning. I’ve been blessed to have been happily married for over 35 years (at last count) and the father of two wonderful sons. I’m not sure that it gets any better than that.
Suddenly finding myself an unexpected and somewhat unwilling early retiree a few years ago, I reinvented myself by turning a lifelong passion into the basis for starting a Sports and Event Photography business.
This blog provides an outlet for a second passion, that of expressing myself in writing and making observations on the world around me.
Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you for checking out my blog, and “liking” a post I wrote. You have a gift, and a passion for what you do. Keep it going.
Thank you for stopping by & reading my blog & giving me a “Like”. I never take that for granted & appreciate it!
I appreciate the like, thanks.
Thanks for dropping by and reading my very first post! It really feels good when you learned that someone’s reading and replying on your work. Somehow, it gives you the idea that you did something that matters.
Thank you for liking a post on my blog! I think it’s amazing that you got to start your own photography business. And I like your blog. Keep it up!
Thank you for the like on my blog. It encouraged me to write more 🙂
Nice of you to stop by. How’d you find me? Keep writing also!
I spend a fair amount time browsing other blogs using WordPress Reader. That’s how I came across yours. Thanks for stopping by.
Reader is awesome! And my pleasure. I’ll be back 🙂
Thanks for the like. It has encouraged me to continue 🙂

how fun to find another older than 30 blogger! DD is my blog educator, the ‘reader’ tutorial is in progress. Thanks for stopping by… Just Fuffy. interestingly (to me) my other post today was so much ‘better’ and yet has not found a like… it is all about the tagging I think. well, I’ll be back… enjoy.. the weather in GA has to be better than that of IL!
I’m definitely older than 30; seems like I remember turning 30, but the details are a little hazy. Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you very much for your feedback!
Nice article on the ‘Situational Ethics’. Thanks for helping me learn more about this site.
